Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson is one of the principals of The Falls. He has over 25 years of IT experience in developing information solutions in both the Banking and Leisure Industries. Since 2001, he has served the Company as Chairman of the Board and has provided long term strategic positioning for The Falls development and adjacent lands.

Rick Wellsby

Rick Wellsby has 25 years experience in contracting and building construction. He has worked with many large builders in British Columbia. Rick has extensive golf course and related real estate development experience. In 1989, he raised funds to assemble the lands that comprise the initial 340 acres of property on which much of The Falls project is situated.

Since 1989, Rick has served the company as president and founder. During his tenure, Rick has been responsible for all aspects of the development, including planning, zoning, engineering and layout. Along with Ted Locke, Rick was the co-architect of the first golf course at The Falls. He also managed the construction. In 1996 that course was rated as one of the top 3 to open in Canada.

Nancy Holme

Nancy Holme has over 25 years of project management experience varying from theme parks to residential communities. Nancy has developed and managed diverse public institutional, commercial, and residential & entertainment projects both locally and internationally. Budgets for individual projects have ranged from $1 million to more than $100 million.

Nancy serves the company as Chief Development Officer and she provides the necessary cost control and scheduling skills to ensure the project is successfully completed, on time and on budget.

Stuart Backerman

Stuart Backerman is an honours graduate of the State University of New York and an award winning theatrical producer, national television correspondent, professional city planner, media-relations expert and a resident of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Stuart was pop music icon Michael Jackson’s worldwide official spokesperson and media relation’s representative during one of the most high profile and tumultuous periods of his life. He was introduced to Mr. Jackson as a result of his highly acclaimed national tour and Broadway engagement of Peter Pan, The Musical starring Cathy Rigby. For two seasons, Backerman was Special Correspondent and frequent guest for 'Entertainment Tonight', one of the most popular television network magazines.

During his multifaceted career, Backerman has garnered an impressive list of achievements. From 1973 to 1975, he attended the University of British Columbia’s Graduate School of Urban Planning and received his Masters Degree. Mr. Backerman was the Director of cultural affairs from 1981 to 1988, serving as Advisor to the Mayor and City Council.
